how i created my double page spread

Once again i used the same paint splat background in-order to create the same theme though out the magazine.

i then created the main heading on the double page spread i keep the text the same as it was on the front cover in-order to stop confusion and keeping the magazine flowing in the same theme. i put the same border behind it on the front cover as well so it did not blend in with the pink boarder. i also placed a pink line down the middle to cut each page.

i then decided to put my images in so it is easy to put my text around them rather than the other way round and not finding room for them. I put a pink border around this as well to take of the sharp points on the picks and so I didn’t look like the were floating there. I also place the [age numbers in the corners for readers to know what page they are on.

i placed the text on the right hand side first cause this is wear the main text about the band is. the left side is just showing the band and who they are. I created a review text for band cause this tends to but what music magazine have on the double page spread. I then put in a band members thoughts as well. I used a green the same as the contents cause I felt it stood out well and was different.

finally i filled the gap which was in the bottom left hand corner to put how it is a new band and the said who was in the picture above and what they did in the band. I then created an album cover for the reader to think it is a sneak preview of their next one. this make the reader feel they are getting information and other people don’t have.
